Here is Christ Church, in Dublin. The story behind this photo really involves running all around Dublin. We found this church, but were broke by this time so we could not get very far into it.
Tip: Dublin is Touristville. EVERYTHING is expensive. Even walking down the street you have beggars and thieves after your purse. I had a woman shoving herself against me when I was tryign to buy lunch. 'Thank you, thank you," she said as she tried to steal my change. Had she stood back patiently and said, "Excuse me, could I have a bit of that change, I'm so hungry." I would have given her the coins, but noooo. She's trying to force a donation. Also, I know this trick and thank God, Alex was standing on my other side so the woman could not get my purse and all my money was in the purse. So I grab my food and shove my change in my purse as she claws for it, spin around and we are outta there like students from a cab when the cabby asks "Who is paying" - Get a window seat so you're out faster. Do not sit in the front. |
